Montclair Kitchen and Powder Room

This kitchen was old and needed to be gutted but there happened to be a beautiful new Viking stove in it. It's just that the range didn't even look good because the rest of the kitchen was so bad. But lucky we decided to keep the range because when the rest of the kitchen was done and the Viking put back in, it looks beautiful and brand new. White, grey and blue small subway tiles over the stove mirror the larger white subway tiles over the rest of the counters.

The countertops are two different colors of granite. The owner was going to go with a white Corian but when pricing it out she found granite for less than Corian, so go with it! The dark floor here is bamboo. There is no table in the kitchen but a center island and stools.

A beautifully shaped light fixture over the center island in stainless that goes with the appliances.

The white glass tiles along with the black and white marble-like granite.

The new powder room was the very large front coat closet so the new loo is generous in size.
The wallpaper is metallic Philip Jefferies grasscloth that takes on many colors including greys and beiges.
The large tiles on the floor have a hand-built raku like feel that goes with the Asian feel of the grasscloth paper but wainscoat on the bottom half of the powder room brings the room back to the age of the house.
